Paris unlocked

I spearheaded and founded the Paris Unlocked site in 2016 as a site for culturally curious travelers. Today, the site garners over 50,000 unique visitors a month and a social media and newsletter audience of over 14,000 people. It has captured numerous valuable rankings in Google search, with many key features ranked in the top 5.

Museum International

Since 2019, I have served as a copy editor and editorial coordinator for several issues of Museum International (International Council of Museums/ICOM).

TestimonialS

“Courtney has been a regular freelance editor for ICOM’s academic and professional publication, Museum International, over the past few years. In her editing work, Courtney shows excellent judgement, analytical skill, attention to detail and rewriting ability. She goes above and beyond to ensure the texts meets our journal’s publishing standards and is capable of working to tight deadlines. I would have no hesitation in recommending her for any editorial position she might apply for.”

–Managing Editor of ICOM Publications

“I knew I wanted to hire a bilingual copyeditor, more specifically, someone who would be able to spot errors in the numerous French names, titles, and quotations that appear in my book manuscript. Courtney far exceeded my expectations. She worked efficiently and kept in regular communication during the entire process. Her corrections were necessary and smart. It was a truly a pleasure working with her.”
